Photos from our “Symbolic Migration” to the climbing tree.  The climbing tree at Haverford College was, for the purposes of the project, the overwintering sanctuary for our monarch butterflies.  Kindergartners made their own "winged crowns" to wear on our symbolic migration south to "Mexico." This trip complemented our on-going thematic work with monarchs and migration this fall and ongoing KinderCooks projects in which we are building garden to table connections with the children.
