Tara has over 26 years of experience and has been teaching at Friends School Haverford since 2019. She has a
BA in Art and Art History from Villanova University.
'I am happy to be a part of this special community! I began my teaching career as a Museum Educator while studying Art & Art History. I firmly believe that every child is an artist deserving of beautiful spaces in which to create beautiful work. Project based learning, Play and Process art are experienced in my classroom daily. I'm inspired by Quaker philosophy, social justice and child - centered practice, all of which are a part of my personal and professional life at FSH. My husband, Sean, and I work to uphold these values as we raise our own children, Fitz & Tess. All of it is gift.
