Toddlers and Friends
A TODDLER AND PARENT/CAREGIVER ART EXPLORATION PROGRAM
Our process-based art program, taught by our experienced art teachers Amy Kiely and Courtney O'Malley, is designed to give the youngest learners the opportunity to socialize, explore materials, and play in a carefully designed toddler classroom. Children increase their art literacy, develop problem-solving skills, and build confidence as they engage creatively with peers, parents, and caregivers. The Toddlers and Friends program is a wonderful and gentle introduction to the Friends School Haverford learning community. Toddlers and Friends is designed for young children ages 20 months to three years of age and their caregivers. Please bring a snack to enjoy.
Space is limited to 10 students per class. Sign up for an entire fall, winter, or spring semester of Tuesday and/or Wednesday classes. Our Tuesday class is 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., and our Wednesday class is 9:30 - 10:30. To guarantee a space for your child, please complete the registration below and pay the class fee in full via our online registration form. All fees must be paid before your child is admitted to the program. No refunds will be made for non–attendance. Registration will close automatically when a class fills up. MEET THE TEACHERS
We are pleased to introduce our dedicated and very experienced early childhood art teachers - Amy Kiely and Courtney O'Malley. Amy has been teaching art for over 20 years and is a long time art teacher for students in Nursery - Fifth Grade at FSH. Courtney has been a teacher of young children, and a teacher educator with a focus on multicultural and multilingual education for over 12 years. Both Amy and Courtney share a love of teaching, art, and early childhood education. Amy and Courtney collaborate in order to deliver a consistent, age appropriate, rich and stimulating program. We look forward to seeing you at our next Toddlers and Friends class.
